Why Tomorrow Will Not Be Better

I started the original ‘Noon of Life’ blog back in 2008 not so much as a chronicle of my life
but more as a creative and writing challenge. I’m not very good at writing about myself so I figured I would simply inflict random notes on a blameless public (public often in the singular looking at the stats). Confessional it wasn't although I did try and find the truth in situations. And it did become noticeably more questioning over time. I was pretty consistent in updating it at the start then lapsed into inconsistency as my life became more demanding (aka a kid) before stopping entirely in 2013. The blog was then hijacked -blogjacked?- by someone selling life assurance and I couldn’t get it back. To my annoyance, their posts were often more entertaining than mine had been.

In 2016, finishing a novel ('And A Funny Feeling of Being Lost', available to download on Amazon!), I revisited the blog for inspiration and managed to salvage the original posts and moved them all here. Sifting again through the entries, there were a few posts and ideas amongst the flotsam that I thought had 'something' so I figured Why not inflict further random notes on a blameless public?  Specifically the cartoon strip which allows me to explore some ideas I have as well as simply tickling my funny bone. I have retitled it Tomorrow Will Not Be Better because, well, simply hoping for something won’t make it happen.

So here I go again. I’ll try and update more regularly. Hopefully.
